Who is responsible for what
You, the creator or agency, are the controller of your fan data: you decide why and how it is used. The operator of fanschatters.com acts as processor and handles it only to deliver your chat team service and only on your documented instructions.
What data we process
- Fan usernames and display names visible in your inbox
- Message content during and around our shifts
- Purchase, tip and subscription information shown to your team through platform permissions
- Notes the team keeps for handover and reporting
We never ask for payment card data, passwords or documents of your fans.
How we protect fan data
- Access only through the team permissions your platform provides, never shared passwords
- Every chatter signs an NDA and passes ID and 18+ verification
- Minimum access: each chatter sees only what the shift needs
- No copying, exporting or screen capture of fan data outside the workspace
- An access log for every account, available on request
- Encrypted connections and accounts protected by strong authentication
Who else may see the data
We use a small number of service providers to run our business, described by category: a hosting provider in the European Union, an email delivery provider and providers of internal communication tools for the team. Each works under a written agreement with confidentiality and security duties. We do not sell fan data and we do not use it for our own marketing.
If something goes wrong
We notify you without undue delay after we become aware of a personal data breach that affects your fans, with what we know, what we have done and what you may need to do.
When the data is deleted
When our work for your account ends, the team loses access the same day. We delete handover notes and reports that contain fan data within 30 days, unless you ask us to return them first or the law requires us to keep something longer.
Your rights as controller
You can ask for a copy of the agreement, the access log, a list of provider categories and information that helps you answer your fans' data requests. Write to support@fanschatters.com.
