WhaleChat pricing per plan and what AI chatting really costs an agency

Get my chat team Your team, shift map and flat monthly price in two minutes.

WhaleChat costs 99, 149.99, 199 or 500 USD a month, plus a commission of 20, 15, 10 or 5 percent of your creators' net earnings. Every plan covers unlimited creators, and a custom Partner plan with a 1 percent commission is sold on request. It is desktop software for agencies that run OnlyFans and Fanvue pages, with AI replies on every creator and human chatters brought in for big spenders.

So the monthly fee is small and the commission is the real price. Below is the price list as WhaleChat's own site shows it, the bill at four roster sizes, the point where each tier stops being the cheaper one, and what a flat human team costs next to it.

WhaleChat plans and prices

These are the five plans on WhaleChat's pricing page. The monthly price is fixed and the commission is charged on top, on net earnings across your whole roster.

Plan Price a month Commission on net earnings Positioned for
Fish 99 USD 20 percent New agencies with their first creators
Crab 149.99 USD 15 percent Agencies making 10,000 to 50,000 USD a month
Dolphin 199 USD 10 percent Agencies making 50,000 USD a month or more
Shark 500 USD 5 percent Large and white-label agencies, chatting-agency mode
Partner Custom 1 percent High-volume agencies, set with the sales team

Every plan lists unlimited creators and 24/7 AI chatting. Higher tiers add mass messages, roster analytics and priority sending, and Shark adds a mode for onboarding other agencies and billing them on top. The commission is invoiced every 14 days, with 3 days of grace before chatting pauses, and checkout accepts crypto. The platforms named are OnlyFans and Fanvue, so Fansly is not covered. The software runs on Mac and Windows.

Prices move often in this market. We read these on WhaleChat's site on 2026-10-31, and you should check them again before you subscribe.

What WhaleChat costs at four roster sizes

This is the monthly bill by net earnings across all your creators, on each tier. Net means what the roster receives after the platform's fee.

Net earnings a month Fish Crab Dolphin Shark
5,000 USD 1,099 USD 900 USD 699 USD 750 USD
10,000 USD 2,099 USD 1,650 USD 1,199 USD 1,000 USD
30,000 USD 6,099 USD 4,650 USD 3,199 USD 2,000 USD
60,000 USD 12,099 USD 9,150 USD 6,199 USD 3,500 USD

Figures are rounded to the nearest dollar. The plan labels do not match the maths. Crab beats Fish above about 1,020 USD of net earnings, Dolphin beats Crab above about 980 USD, and Shark beats Dolphin above about 6,000 USD. In other words, once an agency earns a few thousand dollars a month the cheapest plan is the one with the lowest commission, whatever the label says. Shark is sold as a "talk to us" plan, so its terms may be negotiated.

The full monthly cost of chat with WhaleChat

WhaleChat's own pages describe a hybrid model. The AI writes most replies, and any offer of 500 USD or more goes to a person on your team. So the honest comparison includes people. Take an agency with five creators earning 6,000 USD net each, 30,000 USD in total, on Dolphin at 3,199 USD, plus one freelance chatter at about 900 USD a month (6 hours a day at 5 USD an hour) for the big spenders and custom requests. That is about 4,100 USD for the whole roster.

Setup for five creators Monthly cost Who writes the messages
WhaleChat Dolphin plus one part-time chatter about 4,100 USD AI for most fans, one person for big spenders
WhaleChat Shark plus one part-time chatter about 2,900 USD AI for most fans, one person for big spenders
FansChatters Starter Shift on all five 4,950 USD (5 x 990) A person on every message, 4 hours a day each
FansChatters Prime Time on all five 12,450 USD (5 x 2,490) A person on every message, 12 hours a day each

On cost alone, software wins this comparison, and it is not close at the Shark price. The question is what you are buying. A flat human team costs more per account because a person writes every message at your fans' peak, and the bill does not rise when a month goes well. If your roster is built on volume of cheap fans, the tool is the smaller bill. If a few big spenders carry the account, a person on every chat protects the income that matters. The staffing options are priced in our guide to how much OnlyFans chatters cost.

What to check before you subscribe to WhaleChat

Price is only part of the decision. Four things deserve a look first.

  • Platform rules. A 2024 Reuters report quoted OnlyFans' terms as saying creators cannot use an AI chatbot to write chats or direct messages, and the creator stays legally responsible for every message on the profile. WhaleChat says it is not affiliated with or endorsed by OnlyFans or Fanvue and that each platform's terms apply to how your agency uses it. Read the current terms before you switch any AI on.
  • Account access. Creators sign in on the platform's own page and the software keeps a session token, which means an expired session pauses chatting until she signs in again.
  • What the commission counts. It runs on net earnings across the roster, including income your own chatters would have closed anyway. Ask whether tips and subscriptions are in the base.
  • Your regulars. Top spenders pay for a relationship, and a generic reply is often the first thing a long-time fan notices.

Agency owners who recommend a software stack to their creators can also list the tools and gear they recommend on one storefront, which saves answering the same question in every chat. A human team avoids the platform-rule risk. Our OnlyFans chatbot alternative page compares the two approaches side by side, and the price of another AI tool is in our Desirely pricing guide.

When WhaleChat is enough, and when a team pays for itself

WhaleChat suits an agency with many creators on OnlyFans or Fanvue, a tight margin per account and at least one person who can take over a conversation when a big spender appears. The unlimited creators on every plan make it cheap to scale a roster of low-ticket pages.

It does not suit a creator who wants every message written by a person, an agency with creators on Fansly, or a roster that sells mainly through a few long conversations. A vetted FansChatters team costs 990 USD a month for a 4-hour shift at your fan peak, 2,490 USD for 12 hours and 4,690 USD for 24/7, per account, with no share of earnings. Agencies that resell chat to their own creators can read about the white label OnlyFans chatters setup and the agency page.

Questions about WhaleChat pricing

How much does WhaleChat cost?

WhaleChat costs 99, 149.99, 199 or 500 USD a month depending on the plan, plus 20, 15, 10 or 5 percent of your creators' net earnings. A Partner plan with a custom price and a 1 percent commission is available on request.

Is WhaleChat free?

No. Its site lists no free plan, and the cheapest plan, Fish, costs 99 USD a month plus 20 percent of net earnings. You can try a demo with sample creators before you download the app.

Does WhaleChat take a commission?

Yes. Every plan adds a commission of 20, 15, 10 or 5 percent of net earnings, invoiced every 14 days. Chatting pauses after 3 days of grace if an invoice is not paid.

Is WhaleChat the same as a chatting agency?

No. WhaleChat is software with AI replies and tools for your own team, while a chatting agency supplies the people. Its top plan adds a chatting-agency mode so you can resell it to other agencies.

Does WhaleChat work with Fansly?

Not according to its site, which names OnlyFans and Fanvue. A human team can cover Fansly, OnlyFans and Fanvue on the same shifts.

What is a good WhaleChat alternative?

If you want a person behind every message and a fixed bill, a vetted human chat team is the main alternative. FansChatters costs 990, 2,490 or 4,690 USD a month per account with no share of sales.
